Archipelago Flavours in a Maritime Setting

During the Food & Fun Festival, customers have a unique opportunity to have dinner on the museum ship Suomen Joutsen! The team at Voiveljet restaurant Göran is creating a unique pop-up for in the iconic landmark. Restaurant Göran offers delicious archipelago-inspired flavours in a maritime setting next to Forum Marinum. Our kitchen prepares a diverse range of dishes from fresh, high-quality ingredients – free from strict stylistic boundaries. Our goal is to keep guests coming back. On weekdays, we serve our popular archipelago lunch, while weekends feature a generous archipelago buffet. Our café is open daily for outdoor enthusiasts and museum visitors, offering, among others, a variety of savoury and sweet items prepared in-house. Göran also operates as a private dining venue for celebrations and corporate events for up to 150 guests. In addition, we offer catering services throughout Forum Marinum’s various spaces – such as the stunning Suomen Joutsen ship.

Food & Fun Festival seatings: Salon at 18:00 Dinner at 18:00 will be served in the Captain's Salon, where guests are seated at one table for 20 people. Capacity: 20 seats per evening Lobby at 19:00 Dinner at 19:00 will be served in the Captain's Salon Lobby, which can accommodate up to 30 people. Due to the layout, some guests may be seated at shared tables. Capacity: 30 seats per evening During the Food & Fun Festival week, Göran will operate with normal lunch service and as the ship’s museum restaurant.

Christopher Lai’s signature dishes, refined over years for flavour and texture, come to life at Restaurant Göran. These simple creations follow the “less is more” principle, combining local ingredients with the finest from abroad and drawing influence from Italy, France and modern Nordic cuisine. The dishes have been recognised by Sweden’s Chef of the Year, the Michelin Guide and 360° Eat Guide, and are featured in Scoolinary, the world’s leading online culinary school.
